Ranks and Divisions Empty Ranks and Divisions

Division Ranks:
Recruit (RCT): The first rank of the Combine Civil Authority, you are virtually nothing, and must wait for training before ranking up. The only areas you have access to is the Nexus Lobby and lower level.

Unit 05: Congratulations, your first rank up within the CCA! You have a little bit more freedom, including accompanying other units on patrol. Some people may actually recognize you.

Unit 04: Welcome to the Force, 04, by this rank you are well known within the low-level Civil Protection, you get your very own stunstick and are ready to patrol.

Unit 03: Well, well looks like you made it to 03, Some of the higher-ups will take notice of you, don't get a full head, you receive a pistol only with permission from the higher ups.

Unit 02: You’re getting to some of the high ranks now, think of all you’ve achieved, and laugh at it, because it’s going to get a lot harder. You have complete access to both the pistol and the MP7. Keep fighting, unit.

Unit 01: You are now a 01 unit in your Division, you specialize around the force, and assist DVLs and SQLs, you do not receive any new weapons, but are more recognized.

Officer (OFC): You watch over the regular units in your division, giving out basic orders and practically doing the dirty work the others don’t wish to do. You have a lot more respect from the lower units. You now have the ability to transfer to an Overwatch unit.

Squad Leader (SQL): Congratulations, you are the Squad Leader, next in line for Divisional of your Division, you have access to MP7s, Pistols, Stunsticks, and the SPAS-12. You give direct orders from the DVL to the rest of the division.

Divisional Leader (DVL): You lead your entire division, taking direct orders from the Sectorial, you have access to all previous weapons and the Combine Standard Issue Pulse Rifle. You are virtually entirely brainwashed by the time you reach this. You’ve made it pretty far kid.



Combine High-Authority Ranks:

City Consul: The Consul has complete and direct control over all of City 17 and it’s surrounding areas, commands both social and militarized divisions of the Universal Union. The Consul only takes commands from Combine Advisors. Don’t make him mad.

Sectorial: The greatest rank anyone within the Combine Civil Authority could dream of, they have control over the entirety of the Universal Union militarized units, working with the Consul. Depiction of the Half-Life 2 Beta Consul

Social Stability Leader (SSL): This is a high-ranking Universal Union representative hand-picked to develop, watch over, and command the Combine’s Civil Services and Divisions, ranging from the Civil Worker’s Union to high ranking factory members. They have permission to control a squad of maximum five units to escort him around.

Combine Advisor: The highest rank, and leader within the Universal Union. The Combine Advisor uses telekinesis to communicate with the Consul, working the entirety of the city. The Combine Advisor is rarely seen by anyone, only some high Overwatch Soldiers can say they have met this feared beast.

COMBINE SYNTH TROOPERS:
The combine Synth Troopers are the most elite types of soldiers, far out matching any Overwatch Transhuman Arm soldier. The Synths are various races from planets that the Universal Union has conquered and turned into mechanical super soldiers, the synths vary, but must have a slender, articulated design with armor similar to the more common Striders. Elites come directly from the Combine Homeworld.

Combine Super Soldier: Combine Super Soldiers are extremely strong, tank-like, slow moving ground troops who can easily sweep a city sector, they are released during emergencies, they are equipped with a standard Overwatch AR2 and other weapons provided for them. Super Soldiers only take commands from Synth Elites.

Combine Synth Elite: Elites are slender, extremely fast moving units who usually carry spiked rifles, they are rarely dispatched, and usually only in Autonomous Waivers, they can sometimes be seen on the outskirts of cities hunting down Xenian wildlife. These elites are a force to be reckoned with, and you will not make it out alive.

Cremator: Cremators are not your average Synth, as they are a more machine build then any type of organic race, myths among citizens claim that the Cremators are what used to be children, in fact, the very children that created them in the Universal Union’s factories. They carry a specialized rifle with a flamethrower mode and a pulse electrolyzer blast.

Crab Synth: Crab Synths are rarely dispatched, and when they are, they usually travel with Combien Super Soldiers. It is believed that the Crab Synths are organically mutated versions of the Gonarch, as well as two other Xenian-Class species. Whatever they are, they are equipped with a pulse minigun, and sharp clawed legs.

COMBINE UNIT DIVISIONS:
Grid: GRID is the mechanical engineers of the Combine, they look into new developments in technology and weaponry, using their knowledge in the field of engineering and metalworking to invent new items for the Universal Union.

Helix: HELIX are the Medical Division of the Combine Civil Authority, using their professionalized expertise within the Medical field to assist their fallen units either on the battlefield or in the Nexus. They are able to perform complex surgeries and possible augmentations with the assistance of GRID units.

Union: UNION is the prime backbone of the Combine Civil Authority, these units patrol the streets of City Seventeen, watching out for any type of contraband, or rebellious activities. They give out the verdicts, and are usually seen patrolling or guarding certain areas.

Overwatch Transhuman Arm: OTA is the most elite version of the Combine Civil Authority, just under the Synth High Command, they escort and guard the Consul and have the ability to command squadrons on specialized missions. They are usually quiet, considering they have been completely brainwashed.

Airwatch Command: The Airwatch Command task force is an elite sub-group of the Overwatch Transhuman Arm. This taskforce would take control of the Universal Union’s Weather systems, as well as Combine Hunter-Choppers to ensure safety amongst the air routes in City Seventeen, they have the ability to attach GRIDs to certain projects. (I.E: Helicopter Repair.)
Civil Worker’s Union:
The Combine’s human worker force. As a CWU, you run Universal Union owned business and shops, work in factories, or keep the City clean enough to please the Benefactors.
